Where you provide less than 24 hours notice of a cancellation, you will be charged the full fee. No Medicare rebates are available for missed sessions. WorkCover and TAC also do not pay for missed appointments and you will be responsible for the full fee.

You do not need a referral to see a psychologist. However, if you wish to access Medicare rebates for sessions, you will need to request a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your GP. You may be eligible for up to 10 rebated sessions from Medicare (reviewed after 6 sessions).

Appointments with Bronwyn can be face-to-face at Axon Health in Traralgon, or at 13a Smith St, Warragul, or via Telehealth (phone or video).

Your first appointment will involve an assessment of your current circumstances and a discussion of your goals for therapy. It can be helpful if you have already considered what you would like to achieve through counselling but this is not essential. Bronwyn can help you to identify these goals.

The information you provide during your session is confidential, the only exceptions being if you disclose any risk of harm to yourself or someone else. You will receive more information about these exceptions at your initial session.
